Me: I was given a double whammy, in terms of this affair. I was not only betrayed by my husband of nearly 9 years, but also by someone that I considered to be my friend. I am a thirty-something mother of three.
The Mister: My husband is also thirty-something and was my high school sweethearts. We had what I thought was a storybook marriage. I was wrong.
Buddy: Our 4 year old son.
Feisty: Our 2 year old daughter
Chunky: Our infant son.
The Whore: A friend of mine of about 3 years that I met through a local mommy's group.
The Bore: The Whore's husband. The description says it all.
The Meddler: A mutual friend of The Whore's and mine. We've known each other for about 8 years, although we had become closer for about the last year or so.
Superwoman: This is my BFF. She was my roommate in college and later lived with me and The Mister for a while. She's also probably the best mediator between the The Mister and I.
Pretty: This is probably second runner up for my BFF. She's my cousin by marriage, so I've known her for 19 or 20 years, but we've really become close in the last 8 or so years.
